ශ්‍රීපාද ත්‍රිපිටක ග්‍රන්ථාවලිය යටතේ අභිධර්ම පිටකයේ දෙවන ග්‍රන්ථය වශයෙන් පළකරන ලද විභඞ්ගප්පකරණ පාළි මූල ග්‍රන්ථය මෙහි ඇතුළත් වේ.

මෙම සංස්කරණය රත්නපුර මාරපන ශාස්ත්‍රෝදය පිරිවෙනාධිපති කිරිඇල්ලේ පණ්ඩිත ඤාණවිමල මහා ස්ථවිරයන් වහන්සේ විසින් සංස්කරණය කර ඇති අතර, වැලිවිටියේ සෝරත නාහිමි සහ රේරුකානේ චන්ද්‍රවිමල නාහිමි ආදී වියතුන්ගේ ද උපදෙස් ලැබී ඇත. ශ්‍රීපාද භාරකාර රොබට් සිඩ්නි ඇල්ලෙවල මහතා ඇතුළු මණ්ඩලයේ මූල්‍ය අනුග්‍රහයෙන් ශ්‍රීපාද අරමුදල මඟින් කොළඹ අනුල මුද්‍රණාලයේ මුද්‍රණය කරවා ඇත (1952).

මෙහි ඛන්ධ, ආයතන, ධාතු, සච්ච, ඉන්ද්‍රිය, පටිච්චසමුප්පාද ආදී විභංග 18 කින් සමන්විත සම්පූර්ණ විභංගප්පකරණ පෙළ පාලි භාෂාවෙන් අන්තර්ගත වේ.

PREFACE

The first publication of “Dhammasanganippakarana” of the “Sripada Tripitaka Series” with an “Index” a clear cut “contents” together with a Pali - English Preface was published on 9th April, 1952.

“Vibhangappakarana” is the second publication. Once the publication of the Abhidhamma - Pitaka is over I propose to get the “Saptappakarana” with a Completed Index published and which will incidentally be the Seventh Volume of the series.

In this connection it is my bounden duty to mention the names of Venerable Pandit Welivitiye Sorata Maha Thero, Vice-Principal of Vidyodaya Pirivena, and Venerable Rerukane Candawimala Maha Thero, Principal of Sri Vinayalankara Pirivena, Pokunuwita, for the valuable advice and help given to me.

I was able to place these books before the Buddhist public both the lay and the Sangha through the financial assistance given by Robert Sydney Ellawala J. P. U. M. Trustee of Sripada at the request of the Public Trustee and his board of advisers.

This generous offer on the part of these gentlemen will help to keep the torch of the sublime teaching of the Tathagata ever burning.

I shall be failing in my duty if I fail to express my thankfulness to Bhikkhu Bendaluve Dheerananda fo1 correcting the proofs of the present text, and also to Mr. Harold Weragama, (M. P. Niwitigala) for the assistance given to me to print the Tripitaka.

A certain number of copies of each text to be printed from the Tripitaka in this manner will be distributed free among the recognized Buddhist institutions in Ceylon as well as abroad.
