පට්ඨානප්පකරණ පාළි - ශ්‍රීපාද.pdf

අභිධර්ම පිටකයේ සත්වන මෙන්ම අවසාන ප්‍රකරණය වන මහා පට්ඨානප්පකරණයේ (පට්ඨාන පාළි) පඨම සහ දුතිය භාග මෙහි අන්තර්ගත වේ. මෙය ශ්‍රීපාද ත්‍රිපිටක ග්‍රන්ථ මාලාවේ VIII සහ IX වන වෙළුම් ලෙස ප්‍රකාශයට පත් කර ඇත.

රත්නපුර මාරපන ශාස්ත්‍රෝදය පිරිවෙන්පති පණ්ඩිත කිරිඇල්ලේ ඤාණවිමල ස්වාමීන්ද්‍රයන් වහන්සේ විසින් සංස්කරණය කරන ලද මෙම කෘතිය, 2500 සම්බුද්ධ ජයන්තිය නිමිත්තෙන් ශ්‍රීපාද භාරකාර රොබට් සිඩ්නි ඇල්ලෙවෙල දිසාව මහතා ඇතුළු භාරකාර මණ්ඩලයේ මූල්‍ය අනුග්‍රහයෙන් ශ්‍රීපාද අරමුදල මඟින් 1954 වසරේදී මුද්‍රණය කරවන ලද්දකි. වැලිවිටියේ සෝරත නාහිමි සහ රේරුකානේ චන්දවිමල මහානාහිමිවරුන්ගේ අවවාද අනුශාසනා ද මෙහිදී ලබාගෙන ඇත.

මෙහි ප්‍රධාන වශයෙන් තිකපට්ඨානය, දුකපට්ඨානය සහ දුකතික පට්ඨානය යන මාතෘකා යටතේ හේතු-ප්‍රත්‍ය විභාගය ඉතා සවිස්තරව විග්‍රහ කෙරේ.

SRIPADA TRIPITAKA SERIES

A great draw back to the study of Buddhism in Ceylon is the lack of a publication of the Complete set of Tripitaka. To meet this deficiency, the Sripada Tripitaka Series was commenced on 9th April, 1952, and of this series, the six books, DHAMMA SANGANI - VIBHANGA - DHATUKATHA - PUGGALA PANNATTI - KATHAVATTHU - YAMAKA and Two volumes of the Patthana have been already published.

The volumes left behind of the “Patthana” and the two Pitakas, Vinaya and Sutta are in the press.

It is the intention of the author to complete the work before 1956, in order to commemorate the 2500 th anniversary of the “Sambuddha Jayanti”

In this connection it is my bounden duty to mention the names of Venerable Pandit Welivitiya Sorata Maha Thero, Vice-Principal of Vidyodaya Pirivena, and Venerable Rerukane Candawimala Maha Thero, Principal of Sri Vinayalankara Pirivena Pokunuwita, for the valuable advice and help given to me.

I was able to place these books before the Buddhist public both the lay and the Sangha through the financial assistance given by Robert Sydney Ellawala Disawa J. P. U. M. Trustee of Sripada at the request of the Public Trustee and his board of advisers.

This generous offer on the part of these gentlemen will help to keep the torch of the sublime teaching of the Tathagata, ever burning.

I shall be failing in my duty if I fail to express my thankfulness to Bhikkhu Bendaluve Dheerananda for correcting the proofs of the present text, and also to Mr. Harold Weragama, M. P. Niwitigala for the assistance given to me to print the Tripitaka.

A certain number of copies of each text to be printed from the Tripitaka in this manner will be distributed free among the recognized Buddhist institutions in Ceylon as well as abroad.
