අත්ථසාලිනී ලීනත්‍ථපදවණ්ණනා - ආනන්ද වනරතන හිමි 1938.pdf

මෙම ග්‍රන්ථය අභිධර්ම පිටකයේ ධම්මසංගණීප්පකරණයට අටුවාවූ අත්ථසාලිනී අට්ඨකථාව විස්තර කරමින් සම්පාදනය කරන ලද අභිධම්මමූලටීකා නම් වූ අත්ථසාලිනී ලීනත්‍ථපදවණ්ණනා ටීකා ග්‍රන්ථයයි. දඹදෙණි යුගයේ දෙවන පැරකුම්බා රජු දවස වැඩවිසූ ආනන්ද වනරතන මහාස්ථවිරයන් වහන්සේ විසින් මෙය රචනා කර ඇත.

විද්‍යෝදය ටීකා ප්‍රකාශන මාලාවේ දෙවන කාණ්ඩය ලෙස ප්‍රකාශිත මෙම කෘතිය, කොළඹ විද්‍යෝදය පරිවේණාචාර්ය දෙහිගස්පේ පණ්ඩිත පඤ්ඤාසාර ස්ථවිරයන් සහ පලන්නොරුවේ පණ්ඩිත විමලධම්ම ස්ථවිරයන් විසින් සංස්කරණය කරන ලදුව, කුකුල්නාපේ සිරි දේවරක්ඛිත හිමියන්ගේ පරිශෝධනයෙන් සහ බද්දේගම සිරි පියරතන නායක ස්ථවිරයන්ගේ අනුමැතියෙන් පළ කර තිබේ. ඇඩ්මන් හේවාවිතාරණ මහතා සිහිවීම පිණිස එම මහත්මියගේ අනුග්‍රහයෙන් බු.ව. 2482 (ක්‍රි.ව. 1938) දී කොළඹ මහාබෝධි මුද්‍රණාලයේදී මුද්‍රණය කරවා ඇත.

මෙහි ධම්මසංගණියේ මාතිකා සහ ප්‍රධාන කාණ්ඩ විස්තර වන පරිච්ඡේද රැසක් අන්තර්ගතය:

PREFATORY NOTE.

It is with much pleasure that I place before the public the second volume of the Vidyodaya Ṭīkā Publication.

This important Pāli work was written during the reign of King Pandita Parakrama Bahu II of Dambadeniya (B. E. 1779—1814) by the Venerable Ananda Wanaratana Thero. It has proved difficult to find copies of it even in the possession of learned Bhikkhus, and an ola Ms. of it is rarely to be found in the libraries. This is the first time that the work has been printed in Sinhalese.

I have again to offer my thanks to the two learned editors Dehigaspe Pandit Paññāsāra Thero and Palannoruwe Pandit Wimala Dhamma Thero for the pains they have taken in producing the book in its present form. Thanks are also due to Abhidhammika Wacicissarāchariya Kukulnāpe Siri Devarakkita Thero, a distinguished member of the tutorial staff of Vidyodaya Pirivena, who finally revised the work, as well as to the Ven’ble Baddegama Siri Piyaratana Nayaka Thero, the Principal of Vidyodaya Pirivena, by whom it was approved.

The Samyutta Nikāya Ṭīkā, the third volume of the series, is now in the press, and every effort is being made to make it available to the public at an early date.

The delay in the publication of the Ṭīkās is chiefly due to the lack of financial support on the part of the public. Thanks to the generosity of Mrs. Edmund Hewavitarne it has been possible to print this volume. If her example is followed by others, it will enable the editors to publish the whole series in due time.

A word of appreciation of the work done by her late universally lamented husband, for the promotion of the Buddha Dhamma may not be out of place. He performed the duties of Secretary of the Vidyadhara Society for many years, and as such rendered invaluable services to the Vidyodaya College.

He helped that institution in various ways, following in the footsteps of his grand father Muhandiram Don Andiris Perera Dharma Goonewardhana, his father Mudaliyar Don Carolis Hewavitarne, and his brothers, Mr. Simon Hewavitarne and Dr. C. A. Hewavitarne, not to mention his eldest brother, the Venerable Devamitta Dharmapala, who has left an honoured name in the history of the modern revival of Buddhism in India.
